This sculpture is made of fibreglass and acrylic paint.
The figure was first made with clay. From the clay figure I made a mould with plaster from which I then made the fibreglass figure. The sculpture depicts a boy playing a flute. I particularly wanted to make a large figure. It is almost as tall as I am. I made it in fibreglass so it did not weigh too much and is obviously cheaper than bronze. He is not for sale as he had an accident and is suffering from a broken arm!
