The golfer II

1.800

My life is all about movement as a physiotherapist and a keen on sport. I am also a golf enthusiast.
To create this sculpture, I first make a drawing of the figure I want to create. I then enlarge it to the required size. Using tracing paper, I draw the shapes I’ve decided I need to make my sculpture. Using carbon paper, I draw the shapes on cardboard, which I then cut out. These shapes serve as a template for repeating the sculptures. I then place the templates on the iron sheet, which I then cut with a laser torch. I clean the edges with a radial angle grinder and then weld them with a spot welder. This iron sculpture represents the passion and precision of a golfer in action. Every detail captures the energy and movement of the precise moment of the shot. Its robust yet elegant style will be a magnetic focal point in any indoor or outdoor space.
